“I am a love idealist. I believe in meaningful connections with other beings on this planet. I carry an enduring vision of true love. This is the driving force behind my creative work.”
Tina Harf is a London-based German contemporary artist best known for her expressive large-scale paintings. Rooted in themes of love and duality, her works draw from personal emotional and psychological narratives. They are infused with influences from Japanese manga, pop art, and vintage psychedelic aesthetics. Bold colours and striking contrasts define her unmistakable visual language.
After studying communication at the University of Arts in Berlin, Tina embarked on her creative path in the mid-1990s as both a writer and a painter. Her debut novel became a bestseller in Germany and set the tone for a series of successful romantic comedies – while painting steadily grew alongside her literary career.
Today, painting stands at the centre of her artistic life. Over the past three decades, Tina has evolved her practice across New York, Milan, and now London, where she lives and works. She continues to explore sculpture, room installations, literature, and fashion as extensions of her visual art.
